I love shooting at the Lab! I’ve been shooting here for over 2 years now. Hands down the best studio space to rent in RVA. The host, James, is very accommodating. The space is always clean and shoot ready when I walk in. I love the keyless entry and there is usually street parking available right in front of the studio. Highly recommend The Lab to anyone who needs to rent a studio hourly in Richmond, Va.
Great space for video production needs (interviews, talking heads, testimonials). The exposed brick wall makes for a nice background. There are also various retractable sheets available, and also windows looking out onto the street, and letting natural light in. There are plants on-hand, which add some nice depth & color. Snacks & water are available, and also a bathroom with a mirror to help the on-camera talent get ready.

Up to 20. For a shoot, around 8 is where it stays comfortable to work.
Is there natural light?
Yes, that is the main reason people book it. Bring your own lighting if you need control.
